A little creativity, a little comfort & a little magic.

Handy Hearty Crafts began with something wonderfully simple: the need to create.

What started as a creative and therapeutic outlet became a little sanctuary of its own — a place to slow down, switch off from the stresses of everyday life and make something beautiful with my own two hands. Somewhere along the way, melting wax, experimenting with fragrances and creating little pieces of comfort stopped being just a hobby.

It became Handy Hearty Crafts.

Today, every candle and wax melt is still made with that same spirit at heart. Each one is hand-poured in small batches with care, curiosity and perhaps just a tiny sprinkle of magic.

I've always loved the way fragrance can completely transform a space.

A familiar scent can bring back a memory you thought you'd forgotten. A flickering candle can make an ordinary evening feel cosy. A favourite wax melt can become part of the little ritual that tells your brain:

The day is done. You can relax now.

That's the kind of magic I want to bottle here.

Not grand spells or complicated potions — just those small moments of comfort that make a home feel a little warmer and life feel a little softer.

Our scents are inspired by everything from cosy kitchens and quiet evenings to changing seasons, sweet treats, botanicals and all the wonderfully witchy things that make our little apothecary feel like home.

Handy Hearty Crafts is a small, independent business, which means there's a real person behind every order.

I'm the one dreaming up new scents, pouring the wax, packing your goodies and getting far too excited when a new fragrance combination turns out exactly as I'd imagined.

Nothing here comes from a giant, faceless production line. These are handmade creations from my little corner of the world, made for yours.

And while the shop has grown and changed over time, the reason I came back to it hasn't:

Creating makes me happy.

Life can be loud, stressful and wonderfully chaotic. Candle making gives me somewhere quiet to put all of that energy — and knowing that something I've made might become part of somebody else's cosy evening makes it even more special.
